SAVE YOUR MONEY

SAVE YOUR MONEY! If I could give -0- starts I would...Terrible experience!! Buyer Beware!!
I ordered a basket as a gift for my father's birthday. He is in declining health and I wanted to give him something special to commemorate his birthday. This seemed like the perfect gift. I ordered a bed tray with several items, cheese, crackers, fruit, cake and a balloon. He got the cake, and cheese and crackers. Did not get the balloon or the bed tray--and I was charged for them. The only fruit in the basket was bruised, very green bananas that were very ugly. And it was late in delivery. Customer service is non-existant. They are completely okay that this "basket" was unappealing. I will NEVER order from them again. And their "Customer Service" needs an overhaul. Their CS Rep, Martina, is the worst. Their response to my complaint? $6.99 in STORE CREDIT for the balloon that wasn't delivered!!! LOL!! Seriously!
Save your money and order from someone that cares about their products and customers. Obviously, Hazelton's does not!

Bad company, doesn’t care about their customers

Do not shop here! I ordered an item which arrived a full month later than expected. In that time I called the company over 10 times, emailed, sent Facebook messages and tweets and got no response. I then asked to do a chargeback with my card company because it had been over 3 weeks without any response. Funny enough, they responded disputing the chargeback but still never got back to me.
Expect your items to not arrive and to never hear back from this company.

Not sure how they haven't been sued

Worst customer service and gift experience I've ever had in my life. I paid for a 3-month subscription to their cheese of the month club, only for it to come a month late and for them to send all of the cheeses I ordered for 3 months in one month. I tried getting in contact with Hazelton's for over a month (phone calls, emails, and live chat) and absolutely nobody got back to me. To add insult to injury, they didn't send the cheeses I ordered rather some generic cheeses that I can get at the grocery store for less money. DO NOT waste your money on this scam of a store.

Where do I begin!
First of all why do you ask your customers to choose a delivery date when you can’t deliver it on time! Second of all I’ve called my bank and done a chargeback since you didn’t deliver on time and now they send me a tracking and said it’s delivered LMFAO you scammers who did you deliver too!!! My friend was staying in an arbnb for the time being I don’t even know who has the product, I’ve read so much it’s horrible you blocked customers from social Media from commenting, you don’t any call nor do you bother calling back and oh emails forget that you probably don’t have such good customer service, horrible disgusting I DO NOT SUGGEST THIS TO ANYONE!!!
Horrible company with horrible service and horrible overall! Maybe starry hiring people for customer service and work like a business not like scammers.

Buyers beware

Living in the U.S. and believing Hazelton’s to be a reputable Canadian firm, I ordered a Christmas Basket for my family in Toronto. The order was placed in early December with a mid-December delivery request. When it did not arrive, I contacted them and was informed in late December that COVID had delayed their shipments. To make a long story short, the package arrived on January 18 with the basket and its contents in taters.
Buyers beware.

Poor service, basket not what I ordered

Similar complaints as what I have read. Two baskets ordered, one was supposed to be delivered Dec 21, finally made it by Jan 6. Second custom basket was supposed to have a decanter and custom picked items. No decanter was shipped, two bottles of liquor (thankfully they were the upgrade), similar items were sent but nothing that I actually ordered. No communication was sent saying they were substituting, I would not have gone ahead with the custom order if I knew the decanter was out of stock, that was the whole point of the gift! No customer service at all, you call, they send an email days later not really explaining anything. Very poor communication. I would NOT use them again, what a shame, the website gives such a good impression.

Should we contact the police?

I placed two orders for my children in Canada (one in Mississauga and one in Montreal) before Christmas and they still have not received there gift baskets. Based on other comments in this review portal it looks like there are many others in a similar situation. Is there someone I can contact in Canada to investigate what appears to be a theft.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. Basket ordered and paid for 3 weeks ago and still not delivered. Email responses are stock - not personalised. All blame is assigned to the customer, Covid and the courier. They refuse to take any responsibility for non-delivery of baskets. Don’t use these crooks

Just plain horrible and scammers

On their site, as I write this, the "most recent" review posted is from July 2020. I assume that is because the whole shop has become zombied since then and is just active enough to charge credit cards and not fulfill orders at all. At least, they are no longer "approving" online reviews! It is a money-grab, hoping most people won't actually track delivery?
I ordered well before christmas 2020, I was not holding out hope it would arrive by christmas, but now it is January 4, and they haven't even shipped the damn thing. Not one customer service email (update) or apology -- actually when I try to inquire, their customer service email box is full and bouncing email, and forget a phone call. Horrible scam.

What a scam

What a scam. I ordered a champagne delivery for my dad for Christmas/New Years. I selected a a date but it was not sent. They do not answer their phone messages or emails. They also scrub all of the negative reviews once they are posted. This was money lost and such a disappointment. Avoid Hazleton's at all costs!

Poor Sevice!

I placed my order on Dec. 19th and understood that it's a busy time of year. I have been trying to check on the status of the delivery since Dec. 22nd. I have been trying both by phone and by email to get some sort of response, but to no avail! I don't know why a firm would direct customers to email them and ignore the emails? Definitely would deal with them again. Save your money and avoid aggravation.
